Our
"famous" Snowman Soup recipe is back!!
This stills remains our
most asked about project.
We've given you some new ideas for your project this year, including
new tags. This fun and easy recipe is ideally suited for smaller
children, as well as adults, so it's a perfect gift idea for
teachers, grandparents and friends. It also makes a great fundraising
project. Enjoy!
Snowman Soup
Packaged in our cone bags!
Ingredients
- 1 cup hot chocolate
- ¼ cup M & M's or crushed Christmas candy
- ¾ cup miniature marshmallows
- optional candy cane (used as a stirring stick)
Supplies
- 2 clear cone bags
- twist tie
- ribbon
- cardstock for tag
Fill one cone bag with the hot chocolate powder; using the twist tie, secure
the bag so the powder doesn't come out and cut off excess cone
bag above twist tie. Place the filled bag inside the second bag,
layering the M & M's or crushed candy on top of the sealed bag,
finally adding the marshmallows on top of the candy layer. Tie
the cone bag securely with ribbon and attach the optional candy
cane to be used as a stirring stick.
Hand write or type the following verse on a small card (or use
our pre-made tag below) and attached to the cone bag.
Verse
I was told you've been real good this year, always glad to hear
it.
With freezing weather drawing near, you'll need to warm the spirit.
So here's a little Snowman Soup complete with stirring stick.
Add hot
water, sip it slow, it's sure to do the trick!
TIP: do have some cone bags leftover from your Snowman
Soup project? Try filling them with assorted candies (such as
M & M's, jelly beans), wrapped chocolates, mixed nuts or cramel
corn and give them as stocking stuffers or last minute gifts.
