Now is the time we turn our attention to decorating our trees and homes for the holidays. While we are known for our great selection of holiday packaging, we are quickly become the place to shop for holiday décor! This is the perfect time to come and view our many beautifully decorated trees for some inspiration. Using some of our many décor items, we’ve put together just a couple of quick and simple décorating tips for you to try in your home this year –

 

Black, white and silver is a very popular colour combination this year – very elegant and co-ordinates with most décor styles.
Try something as simple as a green garland along a side table, mantle or low bookcase (as pictured) and scattering a few dramatic ornaments through the garland.
To accent the colour scheme, we added some black and silver snowflakes, glittery silver leaf sprays and tied some simple “shoelace bows” to the glittery balls.
White pillar candles were also added to the garland for some festive glow. Elegant yet quick to put together – this project took less than half an hour, from start to finish.

Another simple idea is to hang larger décor pieces, with ribbon, for a more dramatic effect. In this case, our new light weight foam snowflakes are hung with wide satin ribbon from armoire doors.
These snowflakes can be hung throughout your home including windows, entryways and along railings for a co-ordinated décor theme.
