For something a bit more creative, try wrapping up your Christmas gifts with some seasonal flair! Our “Frosty” snowman is a great way to wrap up gifts that are multi-pieced. Frosty is easy to make, fun to give (and receive!) and he looks good under the tree, too!
- use any 3 white giftware boxes, in graduated sizes (we used a #106 for the base, a #85 for the middle and a #66 for the head)
- using 2 sheets of tissue paper, fold lengthwise the make a band along one side of about 2-3” (this will be the hat)
- attach the tissue paper around the top of the “head” box using tape or glue
- use a 10” piece of ribbon or cord to tie the hat, about half way down the length of the hat; make 1” wide slits above the tie to make the fringe
- using black cardstock, cut out the eyes and mouth; use orange tissue to make the carrot nose – attach all to the “head” box
for the scarf, tie a length of red satin ribbon around the “head” box; attach 2 white boa bows to the ends
- attach 3 red boa bows to the “body” boxes
